Red Wings Suffer 3-1 Loss to Gremlins
Youngstown Gremlins starter Brock Lee pitched a strong game against the Hamilton Red Wings at Eastwood Field, leading the Gremlins to victory, 3-1. Lee picked up the win for Youngstown, going 5.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. Julius Major earned the save, his 4th, for the Gremlins.

The Gremlins got a lift from first baseman Ahmad Elix, who in the bottom of the fifth stroked a 0-1 changeup into left for a 2-run single. It was his 26th hit of the season and put the Gremlins ahead, 3-0.

In comments to the Youngstown Observer, Elix admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."

The Gremlins are now 12-9, while the Red Wings fall to 5-16.
