Jamestown got a valiant performance from pitcher Isaac Greenwood, but it wasn't enough to beat the Oil City Oilers. Oil City won the game, 3-1. Greenwood threw 7.2 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Dustin Gluvna picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Júlio Sanin suffered the loss. Oil City is now 18-24, Jamestown 17-25.

Oil City got a clutch hit from Michael Macias. The first baseman launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

Macias described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
