The Brooklyn Cyclones defeated the Niagara Falls Rapids, 6-3, in New York-Penn League action at Nat Bailey Stadium. Brooklyn pitcher Nemo McIvor had a standout performance. Brooklyn is second in the New York-Penn League South Division with a record of 13-8.
Stan Hartman made an early impact for Brooklyn when he stroked his 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came with no one out in the top of the first, put the Cyclones on top, 4-0.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Hartman.
