The Oil City Oilers picked up a win, 5-2, over the Tri-City ValleyCats at The Oil Field. Charlie Schaefer led the charge. The Union City, New Jersey native went 2-4 with a home run and a double for Oil City. The victory puts Oil City at 15-27.

The Oilers picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Schaefer told the Oil City Today.
