Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Ironbirds
Aberdeen designated hitter Malcolm Johnson played a vital role in his team's 10-7 conquest of Lowell. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for Aberdeen. Derek Vanderhoof came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-1. The Ironbirds now own a record of 23-21.

In the bottom of the ninth, with the score tied, Johnson hammered a 3-run home run to win it for Aberdeen.
