The Hamilton Red Wings defeated the Atlantic City Jokers, 9-1. Third Baseman Jake Williams deserved a large share of the credit. Williams went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the Red Wings. Paul Jasaitis, the winning pitcher, is now 2-1. He went 6.2 innings, allowing no runs on 6 hits, while fanning 6 and walking 1. The 5th-place Red Wings have won 4 straight.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Williams hit a 2-run double off Lukas Jones. It propelled the Red Wings into the lead, 2-0.
