The Medford Flying Tigers defeated the Niagara Falls Rapids, 7-5, in Northwest League action at Medford Grounds. Medford pitcher Rogelio Rodriguez had a standout performance. With this game in the books, Medford is 14-8, Niagara Falls 10-12.

Robert McCaffrey dealt the Rapids a blow in the bottom of the second. Batting with the bases loaded and Medford leading 2-0, McCaffrey hit a 1-2 fastball for a 2-run single.
