Abbotsford left fielder Peter Chadwick had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Chadwick hit 2 home runs, even as Tri-City beat the Canucks, 8-5. Reliever Kelley Saxton picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Luke McCullough took the loss. At 11-13, the Dust Devils are currently 7th in the Northwest League North Division.

Tri-City relied on the bat of Hayden Zweber to get the win. The center fielder ripped a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Dust Devils ahead, 4-2. For the game, Zweber had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"It was a solid team effort," Zweber said. "That's usually what it takes to win."
