The Niagara Falls Rapids stormed past the Aberdeen Ironbirds, 12-8, at Nat Bailey Stadium. Niagara Falls third basemanIan Morales , who is tied for 7th in the NYP in triples with 2, led the hit parade. He was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Steve Stout, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 3 runs on 2 hits in 4.1 innings. Alexander David locked down his 10th save.

In the bottom of the first, 21-year old left fielder Jason Zuniga hit a 2-run double. The 1st double of the season for the Niagara Falls left fielder put the Rapids on top, 2-0.

"This team has the heart of a lion," said Rapids manager Aiden Niemann.
