Gremlins Fall, 8-1, to Byers, Jokers

Atlantic City defeated Youngstown, 8-1, in large part due to 21-year old first baseman Theo Byers. Byers drove in 4 runs. The first baseman had 1 double and 2 home runs for the Jokers. Atlantic City reliever Thomas Strandvik picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Norm Mentgen took the loss. The win puts Atlantic City at 28-23 this season.
Atlantic City took control in the bottom of the seventh. With no one out and the bases loaded, Jimmy Hall hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Jokers.
