Rousseau Propels Ironbirds to 10-6 Win
The Aberdeen Ironbirds powered past the Oil City Oilers, 10-6, at The Oil Field. Ray Rousseau provided some of the pop. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Axel Derby earned the save for Aberdeen, his 10th of the year. Aberdeen has now won 3 straight, while the Oilers have lost 3 in a row.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Rousseau delivered big-time for Aberdeen, stroking a dramatic grand slam home run off Troy Pontz. The game-changing hit put the Ironbirds on top, 10-6.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Rousseau.
