Baez Propels Cleveland to 3-0 Win
|
The Cleveland Indians got a stellar effort from pitcher Edgard Baez, helping Cleveland score a win over the visiting Minnesota Twins, 3-0. Easton Wilson closed it out for his 1st save. Minnesota is 9-12 after the loss.
Baez scattered 2 hits over 7.1 innings for the Indians. With the win, Baez goes to 2-1 on the year with 19 strikeouts.
"Bottom line," said Minnesota skipper Connor Sandstrom, "we didn't play well enough to win."
