Gremlins Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Spartans, 3-2
Starting pitcher Brock Lee was a major factor in the 3-2 Youngstown Gremlins triumph over the Olympia Spartans. With the victory, the Gremlins upped their record to 15-12.

Youngstown used a timely hit from Filipe Polo to get the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Gremlins ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

In comments to the Youngstown Observer, Polo admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
