Marauders Stick ValleyCats with 4-2 Loss
|
Kennewick Grounds was the site for Northwest League action featuring the Tri-City ValleyCats and Kennewick Marauders.
Kennewick right fielder Jordan Clark helped his team beat the Tri-City ValleyCats, 4-2. Clark, who is tied for 10th in the NWL in home runs with 4, went 2 for 4 for the Marauders. Earning his 2nd save for Kennewick was Jason Stevenson.
Kennewick took a 4-1 lead on Clark's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Tim Tallman in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Kennewick to the win.
"We're scuffling right now," said losing manager Jason McTaggart.
The Marauders raised their record to 21-6.
