6-5 Loss to Royals Extends Texas Losing Streak
The Kansas City Royals managed to get by the Texas Rangers, 6-5, at Kauffman Stadium. Kansas City pitcher Murray Yallop set himself apart with his performance. In 5 innings, Yallop surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 4. He allowed 3 runs. For the Rangers, the loss makes them 7-14.
