Black Bears Score Late to Upend Jokers, 3-2
The West Virginia Black Bears took Atlantic City pitcher Ulisses Salazar's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Dutchess Stadium. The final score had West Virginia getting past the Jokers, 3-2. Salazar went 6 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 6. West Virginia is now 36-21, while Atlantic City is 31-26.

West Virginia went up, 3-2, on Sidney Wilson's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Wilson hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Atlantic City pitcher Stephen Collins shaking his head.

"The fact of the matter is that we had a shot to win," said losing manager Jose Ornelas.
