8-4 Win for Youngstown in Extras
The Youngstown Gremlins defeated the Tri-City ValleyCats, 8-4, in 12 innings in New York-Penn League action at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. Youngstown pitcher Diamante Sorondo had a standout performance. Dylan Starnes, now 6-4, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. The 5th-place Gremlins have a record of 27-29.

Youngstown used a timely hit from Leon Estrada to get the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the 12th inning to put the Gremlins ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Estrada.
