Rock 'Em! Sock 'Em! Ibarra Blasts 3 Homers in Tri-City Win
The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Tri-City fans at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium.

The Tri-City ValleyCats used the hitting of designated hitter Samuel Ibarra to subdue the Youngstown Gremlins, 13-7. For the game, Ibarra slugged 3 home runs, while scoring 4 times and driving in 9. Tri-City reliever Ytor Álvarez got the win, raising his record to 4-4. Rafael Esquivel was tagged with the loss.

In the bottom of the sixth, Ibarra put his team in front with his 12th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came against Rafael Esquivel, made it 5-3, Tri-City.

"Wish we'd had more wins to celebrate like this one," said Ibarra.

Tri-City now owns a record of 18-40.
