Ali Leads Muckdogs to Win
The Batavia Muckdogs downed the Atlantic City Jokers, 19-5, at Dwyer Stadium. The Muckdogs were led by Sahib Ali. Ali went 4-4 with a home run, 2 doubles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 times and drove in 5. Batavia pitcher Jet Tripplet got the win, upping his record to 6-3. D.J. Polanco got the loss. Batavia has a record of 29-29, placing them 5th in the New York-Penn League North Division.

Elijah Singh took Atlantic City hurler Judah Polson deep in the bottom of the fourth. His grand slam home run put the Muckdogs on top, 8-4. In all, Singh had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.

"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Singh told the Batavia News.
