Connecticut got a big-time effort from pitcher Tim Thomas, but it wasn't enough to keep the Atlantic City Jokers from winning the game, 4-3. Thomas threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball for the losing team. Atlantic City is now 23-35. Connecticut is 23-35.

Samuel Puentes was the walk-off hero for Atlantic City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Jokers left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The crowd was boisterous today," said Puentes.
