Niagara Falls 38-22 After 5-3 Win Over West Virginia
The Niagara Falls Rapids besoiled an otherwise fine performance by West Virginia second baseman Brandon Bazilian by beating the Black Bears, 5-3, at Nat Bailey Stadium. Bazilian was 3-4 with 3 singles. Kendall Bradbury, 3-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits in 4 innings. Alexander David, credited with the save, is now 15 for 16 in save opportunities.

Colton Inserra had a big 2-run home run for the Rapids in the bottom of the third inning. With Niagara Falls leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Kaynard Walker and swatted a home run to right. It was his 5th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rapids ahead, 4-0.

"It was a good effort all around," said Inserra.

Niagara Falls is now 38-22, 2 games up in the New York-Penn League North Division.
