Knights Drop Falcons, 3-2

In a low-scoring affair between the Las Vegas Knights and the Fresno Falcons, pitcher Colton Hall was the difference between victory and defeat. The Las Vegas left-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Knights win. Hall picked up the win for Las Vegas, going 6 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 2-2. Brent Brown closed out the game, earning his 3rd save.
The Knights got a big at-bat from designated hitter John Thompson. For the game, Thompson went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Las Vegas a 3-0 lead.
"Colton gets tougher when he has to, makes a big pitch when he has to," said Las Vegas skipper Jason Geddis.
With the loss, Fresno falls to 4-17.
