Brooklyn Cyclones starter Billy Joe Stephenson found his groove in his team's 2-0 win over the Youngstown Gremlins. Linc Mullis nailed down the save. The defeat makes Youngstown 33-26.

The Cyclones got a big at-bat from designated hitter Case Sadofsky. For the game, Sadofsky went 2-3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave Brooklyn a 1-0 lead.

"Every play was important. Every out was important," said Cyclones manager Solomon Osorio.
