Aberdeen Doubles Up Atlantic City, 8-4
|
Atlantic City center fielder Evan Wogan had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 8-4, to Aberdeen at Monongalia County Ballpark. Wogan was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The winner in relief was Ben Leingang. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. He now owns a record of 2-2. The last-place Jokers have dropped 5 straight games.
Abel Brady, who is tied for 8th in the NYP in bases on balls with 30, helped out the Aberdeen cause in the top of the fifth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the second baseman went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 2 walks.
