Hamilton Red Wings starter Mason Clapp turned in a top-notch performance against the Tri-City ValleyCats at Red Wings Ballpark. The result was a win for the Red Wings, 4-0. Hamilton is now 36-24, while Tri-City is 18-42.

Clapp confounded Tri-City hitters. Over 7.1 innings, he allowed no runs on 3 hits.

"Mason had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said Hamilton manager Dmitry Parks.
