Due in large part to right fielder Levi Sousa, the State College Spikes sunk the Tri-City ValleyCats, 8-6. Sousa went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The Spikes now have a record of 36-28.

In the top of the fifth, State College third baseman Nickson Fecunda had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Fecunda stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 6-3, State College. For the game, he went 2-5 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.
