The Oil City Oilers called upon starter Chase Tuck, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Hamilton Red Wings, 4-1. Alex Bruning locked down his 5th save. With the victory, the Oilers record now stands at 18-15.

Oil City used the bat of James Valdivia to get the win. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Oilers ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 2 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Tuck said.
