The Maine Lobsters knocked off the Connecticut Tigers, 1-0, in New York-Penn League action at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium. Maine pitcher and Kamloops, Canada, native Noah Morin had an outstanding performance. Morin yielded no runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 5-4. Maine has now won 9 straight.
Aiden Chappel had a direct impact on the outcome. Chappel contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the first inning to put Maine up, 1-0.
