Doubledays Get One-Run Win at Atlantic City
In a low-scoring affair between the Auburn Doubledays and the Atlantic City Jokers, pitcher Stuart Merriweather was the difference between victory and defeat. The Auburn right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Doubledays win. In 5.1 innings, Merriweather surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Taylor Anderson earned his 14th save, after closing out the game.
