Hot Start Continues for Blue Jays
The Toronto Blue Jays got a good effort from starter Renny Leech in defeating the Detroit Tigers at Rogers Centre. The final score was 5-2. Leech went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 8. His record improves to 3-0. Homer Covarrubias closed the game out for Toronto, earning his 8th save.
