Hawks Pick Up 4-0 Win
|
The Boise Hawks beat the Lowell Spinners, 4-0, at Memorial Stadium. Starting pitcher Diego Linares was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Boise is 6th in the Northwest League South Division with a record of 16-22.
Boise designated hitter James Conner contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a slider into center field for a 2-run single. It was his 36th hit of the season and put the Hawks ahead, 2-0.
"What we get, we earn," Conner told the Boise Chronicle.
