Jeremy Pratte led Abbotsford to a win over Bend. The final score was 6-4. Pratte scored 2 times, while going 3 for 4. The first baseman also was credited with 1 RBI. The loss lowers the Bend record to 6-1.
Lee Croft had a big 3-run home run for the Canucks in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Abbotsford trailing 3-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a slider from 21-year old right-handed pitcher Timo Medrano and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Canucks on top, 4-3.
"It was a solid team effort," said Croft after the game.
