Galvez Leads Indians to Win
Getting a good performance from center fielder John Galvez, the Spokane Indians defeated the Olympia Spartans, 7-4. Galvez went 2-3 with a home run, a triple, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Indians. Picking up the save was Kenny DeMarco, his 1st. The win puts Spokane at 7-2.

In the top of the sixth, George Medeiros delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Spokane right fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Indians in front, 7-4.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Medeiros told the Spokane Today.
