Redmond Rallies for 5-2 Win
|
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Redmond Rattlers and Abbotsford Canucks.
Redmond designated hitter Drake Gregory had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Abbotsford Canucks, 5-2. The winner was Elijah Guzman in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Lovell Jack took the loss. Shawn Outhier earned the save for Redmond, his 4th.
Gregory had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-0 fastball from Lovell Jack, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Rattlers a 5-2 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Gregory.
Gregory attributed the win to "an all-around good team performance."
With the win, Redmond is 6-6.
