Sicks Lifts Jokers to 12-7 Triumph
The Atlantic City Jokers stopped the Tri-City Dust Devils, 12-7, behind an impressive performance from Ralph Sicks. The 21-year old catcher made life miserable for Tri-City pitching. He went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Getting the save was Jordan Edwards, his 1st. Even with the win, the Jokers have a dismal 11-30 record.

Atlantic City relied on the hitting of E.J. Abed to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Jokers on top, 8-4. For the game, Abed had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Sicks told a Atlantic City Bulletin reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
