Vásquez in Fine Form in 1-0 Win
|
In a tightly-contested game between the New Westminster Cavalry and the Spokane Indians, pitcher Alec Vásquez was outstanding. The New Westminster left-hander propelled his team's 1-0 win. Roldan Donzelli earned his 3rd save, after closing out the game. The defeat makes Spokane 5-6.
Vásquez gave New Westminster a blue-ribbon performance. The 6-foot-8 left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 7.2 innings of work.
"For the most part, I didn't think they knew what was coming," said Vásquez.
