The home crowd had a good time watching the Oil City Oilers and Connecticut Tigers get after it.

Allen Zimmerman had a big hand in Connecticut's 10-5 triumph over Oil City. He rattled off 4 hits in 5 at-bats, scoring 3 times and knocking in 1 runs. The Tigers, at 19-25, sit in 8th place in the New York-Penn League South Division.

In the bottom of the fifth, Ian Aguilera delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 2nd, the Connecticut center fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Tigers in front, 10-5.

"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Zimmerman told the Connecticut Chronicle.
