Chiefs Edge Indians, 6-5
|
Wenatchee beat Spokane at Chiefs Stadium, escaping with a 6-5 win. The win in large part was due to designated hitter Jeffrey Dunn. He went 3 for 4 with 3 singles. Jaxon Wilson was credited with the save for Wenatchee, his 1st of the season. Spokane has now lost 5 consecutive games.
Left Fielder Allen Hazel made an impact for Wenatchee, when he swatted a bases-clearing triple off Gabriel De León in the bottom of the fourth. For the contest, Hazel went 1-4 with a triple, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"We'll build on this win," said Hazel.
