The Connecticut Tigers and Maine Lobsters were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
The Maine Lobsters powered past the Connecticut Tigers, 10-1, at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium. Mauricio Lee was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5, to lead the charge. Hunter Clark got the win, improving to 2-1. He worked 8 innings, giving up 1 run on 5 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 0.
In the top of the third of a scoreless game, Lee hit a 3-run home run to put his team ahead.
"Things went our way," said Lee.
Maine occupies second place in the New York-Penn League North Division at 26-18.
