Owls Drop Cavalry, 4-3

Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Roseburg Owls and New Westminster Cavalry.
The Roseburg Owls picked up a win at Owls Stadium, dropping the New Westminster Cavalry, 4-3. Joseliño Montalvo was the difference-maker. Montalvo picked up the win for Roseburg, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 9 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0.
Roseburg shortstop Logan Robbins contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a splitter to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 20th hit of the season and put the Owls ahead, 4-2.
"When you are able to locate the ball, good things are going to happen," said Montalvo.
The Owls now have a record of 9-12 with the win over New Westminster.
