Romero Delivers Walk-Off Win for Sea Unicorns
The Gold Beach Sea Unicorns defeated the Wenatchee Chiefs, 8-7, in 11 innings. Much of the credit belonged to third baseman Alphonso Cortez, who went 3-6 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Sea Unicorns. Gold Beach is now 10-12.

The Sea Unicorns got a clutch hit from left fielder Xavier Romero. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Sea Unicorns.

"This wasn't a good win," said Cortez. "It was a great win."
