The Gold Beach Sea Unicorns topped the Wenatchee Chiefs by a score of 11-6. Leading the way was left fielder Eben Howell. Howell went 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 5 for the Sea Unicorns. The Sea Unicorns raised their record to 11-12.

With Gold Beach leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Howell hit a run-scoring single off Wenatchee hurler Turner Pacheco. It was the 10th hit of the season for Howell and put his team ahead, 2-0.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Howell.
