Canucks Inch Closer to .500 With 4-0 Win
|
The Abbotsford Canucks took on the Eugene Emeralds at Ballpark of Abbotsford.
Thanks in large part to third baseman Bray Brown, the Abbotsford Canucks beat the Eugene Emeralds, 4-0. Brown was 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2. Earning his 1st save of the year was Melvin Vega.
One pivotal at-bat came with one out in the top of the fourth. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Eugene trailing 3-0, Scott English needed to bear down against Blas Suárez. English won the battle, as Suárez struck out and the Canucks went on to win.
The Canucks are now 12-13, while the Emeralds fall to 9-16.
