Lobsters Net 8-2 Win Over Cyclones
|
The Maine Lobsters dumped the Brooklyn Cyclones, 8-2, in large part due to second baseman Tristan Main. On the day, Main went 1-3 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Lobsters. The winning pitcher was Hunter Clark. He tossed 94 pitches over 6.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits. With the victory, the Lobsters record now stands at 28-20.
Early in the game, Main had a 3-run home run for Maine. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Lobsters on top, 3-0.
In comments to the Maine News, Main admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."
