Late Magic Gets Rogue Valley 6-3 Win
The Rogue Valley Dodgers picked up a win at Ripken Stadium, knocking off the Aberdeen Ironbirds, 6-3. Starting pitcher Alexander Ashman played a key role in the triumph. The win was credited to Josh Tolbert in relief. His record improves to 6-1. Lukas McNeely took the loss. Rogue Valley is in second place in the Northwest League South Division with a record of 32-17.

Rogue Valley used the timely hitting of Gabe De La Cruz to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Dodgers on top, 6-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll savor this win," De La Cruz told the Rogue Valley Herald, "then get ready for the next game."
