Greene Slams 5 Hits for Oil City
It was a parade of hits for J.C. Greene of the Oil City Oilers at PK Park today.

Connecting with regularity, Greene finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but the Emeralds rose to the occasion and rained on his parade with a 5-4 win.

"Greene was really good, we were just a little better," said Emeralds manager Tony Osorio in the postgame interview. "It's all right with me if he gets 5 hits every game against us, as long as we win."

J.C. Greene doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, doubled in the 9th, struck out in the 10th and walked in the 12th.


For the season Greene has produced 57 hits in 206 at-bats for a .277 average with 1 home run and gotten on base at a .364 clip.
