Extra-Inning Win by Canucks Over Dust Devils
|
The Abbotsford Canucks outlasted the Tri-City Dust Devils, 7-5, in 16 innings. Jeremy Pratte played a key role, going 4-for-8 for Abbotsford. Paul St. George, 2-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 2.1 innings. Getting the save was Renny Ruiz, his 1st.
Pratte had a game-changing home run in the top of the 16th. On a 1-1 changeup from Dan Ross, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Canucks a 7-4 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Pratte.
In postgame comments, Pratte said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
