The Kennewick Marauders pounded the Yakima Valley Pippins, 16-2, at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Kennewick designated hitter Américo Valdovinos had a solid game. He went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5 for the Marauders. Kennewick pitcher Walter Newell got the win, upping his record to 3-1. Waylon Hollingshead got the loss. Bastian Valdez closed out the game, earning his 1st save.

Kennewick used the hitting of Gordon Hermansen to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Marauders on top, 5-2. For the game, Hermansen had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
