Côté, Lake Monsters Dispatch Everett, 3-1
|
Starting pitcher Phil Côté did his part in helping the Vermont Lake Monsters thwart the Everett AquaSox, 3-1. Paco Carvajal earned the save for Vermont, his 7th of the year. The win hiked the Vermont record to 30-24.
The AquaSox had little chance against Côté, who overpowered Everett hitters and struck out 10.
"It was a good effort all around," said Côté.
