Reds Lose, 2-1, to Milwaukee
|
Milwaukee Brewers starter Tom Neal worked his magic, to help his team defeat the Cincinnati Reds, 2-1. Jim Hallett nailed down his 6th save. With the win, Milwaukee elevates its record to 10-14.
Milwaukee used the hitting of Jeffrey Wagner to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Brewers on top, 2-1. For the game, Wagner had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Cincinnati manager Bill Ortiz said, following the tough loss.
