Gold Beach Keeps Spiraling Downward
The Abbotsford Canucks beat the Gold Beach Sea Unicorns, 4-2, at Ballpark of Abbotsford. Abbotsford third baseman Chan Alomar had an outstanding performance. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. At 26-20, the Canucks are currently 6th in the Northwest League North Division.

Alomar had a timely hit for Abbotsford in the bottom of the seventh. With Abbotsford trailing 2-0, he turned a 1-1 fastball into a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season, making it 3-2, Abbotsford.

"Bad luck's the only luck we've had," said Gold Beach manager Frank Medrano.
