Falcons Pla Injured Saturday, May 11th , 2052 The Falcons received bad news this morning. Connor Pla will miss 4-5 weeks due to a strained groin muscle. He sustained the injury in the Fresno-San Francisco game while running the bases. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Pla sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." In his stats this season, Pla has posted a batting average of .247 with 18 hits in 73 at-bats, 1 home run and 4 RBIs. He has also scored 11 runs, walked 4 times and compiled a .295 OBP. |
